Claudia R. Capos
is a highly professional

years of experience in
journalism, publications and
media relations. A graduate of
the University of Michigan’s
School of Journalism, she
co-founded and co-published
About Ann Arbor Magazine for
five years before joining The
Detroit News where, over a
10-year period, she held a
variety of writing and editing
positions and received three
Pulitzer Prize nominations.
Since leaving
The News, Claudia has
provided communications services
to 50 or more clients, ranging
from the Big Three automotive
manufacturers to small and
mid-size privately held
companies. She also has written
and/or edited publications,
created Web-site content and
handled publicity for several
educational institutions,
including the University of
Michigan’s Ross School of
Business. Her business, real
estate and travel articles have
been published in national and
regional magazines, as well as
major metropolitan newspapers.
In addition to
her communications background,
Claudia has gained first-hand
knowledge of global business
marketing and operations through
her international-trade
corporation, Foreign Accent
Inc., and its locally based
successor, Brighton Accents.
